My name is Tarandeep Singh, i did my bachelor’s in pharmacy from India, punjab (Sudhar) and after that i came to canada and completed Healthcare Administration and service management course from Conestoga college. If i talk about my bhangra background i vividly remember that i started to do bhangra when i was in 4th class and after one year i compete in School level competitions and selected for state level competition. In 2010 i started to perform on Dhol in school and in 2011 we got second prize in state competition and also got best dancer award in 2011 and 2012. After that in 2014-2015 our school team again won in state competition. In my college time, i participated in youth festivals and inter college competitions and learned many things in details about Bhangra and punjabi culture.

Hello! My name is Dilvir Kaur, I have been a bhangra instructor with G9 for 2 years! Throughout my time here, I have taught kids from the ages of 3-12 through various levels of dance while also learning bhangra and giddha myself. My goal continues to be to give children the opportunity to express themselves and learn about their cultural roots surroundings folk art. I aspire to always create an environment where my students are able to comfortably make mistakes, learn, and flourish!
